This episode of The Margins, “Jilted Blue Silk Dress,” is adapted from an actual letter from a would-be bridegroom who describes a haunting precognitive vision that changes his future. It was published in the 1889 issue of the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, the first science organization to investigate paranormal phenomena.
